Windows 7 Mainstream Support ended 13 Jan 2015
Every Windows product has a lifecycle. The lifecycle begins when a product is released and ends when it's no longer supported. Microsoft have released four new Office apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote) for use on iPad, iPhone and Android devices. Viewing is free but you will need a Microsoft Account to create and edit documents. You can unlock the full app experience with an Office 365 subscription.
I think Office 2013 (on disk) is a better Office solution for businesses but either way the free apps are handy.
