1. Open the control panel by clicking on Start->Control Panel
2. Open Regional and Language Options.
3. Confirm that the language is English (Australia), and that the date formats are correct. If the date formats are not correct (i.e. in the American format of Month/Day/Year) click on Customize...
4. If the date format from the previous screen was incorrect change the Short date format to d/MM/yyyy (e.g. 2/12/2006) or dd/MM/yyyy (e.g. 02/12/2006) and the long date format to dddd, d MMMM yyyy (e.g. Tuesday, 12 December 2006).
5. If MYOB is still displaying the dates in the incorrect format, or you recieved an error saying "One or more of the characters you typed in this field are invalid. Try typing different characters.", download and import this registry file, and go back to step 1. (See this Microsoft support bullitin for information on this fix.) |
