VSSetup.exe Parameters
VSSETUP.EXE /CK=<your company key> /<parameters>
You must reboot those computers to enable buffer overflow protection or the Firewall service.
/CK=XYZ
/Email=x@y.com
/Uninstall
/Reinstall
/Groupid=[group number]
/P=vf Selects the protection service(s) to install:
- v — virus and spyware protection service (only).
- f — firewall protection service (only).
- b – SiteAdvisor – Browser protection (only)
Example command line:
VSSETUP.EXE /CK=abcd /Email=joe@example.com /Groupid=3
where the company key is abcd, the user’s email address is joe@example.com for reporting purposes, and this user is placed in an existing group represented by the number 3. Generate a customized URL, as described in Sending an installation URL to users, to find the correct numeric groupid.
Example command line:
VSSETUP.EXE /InstallService /CK=abcd /Email=joe@example.com
